Arabic Translation
Arabic, written across a world of cultures.
Arabic connects more than twenty countries and hundreds of millions of speakers. Etranslation provides Arabic translation, localization, interpretation, subtitling and multilingual content adapted to different Arab markets and audiences.
Arabic is one language with many local voices.
Modern Standard Arabic is used extensively in formal writing, media, education and international communication. At the same time, spoken Arabic varies considerably across North Africa, the Levant, the Gulf, Iraq and other regions.
Localization therefore goes beyond translating words. Terminology, spelling conventions, date formats, numerals, tone and dialect choice can all influence how content is received.
Arabic also requires right-to-left interface adaptation. Digital products may need changes to layout direction, navigation, alignment, icons, forms and visual hierarchy as part of a complete localization process.
“مرحبا” (Marhaban) means “Hello,” while “شكرا” (Shukran) means “Thank you.” Arabic script is also written from right to left, although numbers commonly appear in their usual left-to-right sequence within Arabic text.
